Edwin Oudshoorn To Be Stocked At Bridal Indulgence
Hold the phone, bride-to-be. Have you heard? Glittering on the horizon (and landing this July) is the arrival of a new selection of gowns from Amsterdam-based bridal atelier, Edwin Oudshoorn. Now THAT’s what we call a diary date.
Celebrated for their couture craftsmanship, it was quite a few years before designer Edwin and his partner Nick, turned their attention to the creation of aisle-worthy, made-to-order bridal design. “With our background in Couture, we wanted to create a line that was more accessible and which made our work available to a wider public. A lot of brides found it difficult to visualise a couture gown from a sketch. We wanted to be able to allow our brides to try on our wedding gowns and to get a feel for our work and the quality of the materials we use”, the duo explain. “We love nothing more than seeing a new bride connect with a gown, falling in love with it.... that is why we do what we do!”
And, this love - not to mention that signature Edwin Oudshoorn creative spirit - is endlessly mirrored throughout their latest made-to-order bridal collections, NOMADS and HALYCON. Boasting a collection of gowns that will steal many a brides’ heart, you’ll love the fact that each and every wedding dress is handcrafted in the label’s Amsterdam atelier, utilising the same exclusive materials used for their celebrated bridal couture.
Having stumbled across the label on Instagram, here at Bridal Indulgence we instantly recognised a creative synergy between our unique bridal offering and the heart-stoppingly romantic designs of Edwin Oudshoorn. It wasn’t long, therefore, before we’d cherry-picked a selection of seven show-stopping wedding dresses that we knew our glorious brides would instantly covet. Every piece debuts it’s own ethereal character, from the timeless romance of Rose (with her floral-fuelled organza and tulle ball gown) to the structured modern elegance of Marlow (anyone for an oversized bow?) and the ethereal beauty of Autumn and her embroidered tulle shrug. You’re also offered the tools to mix up your aisle look, with the brand’s beautifully crafted Nikki Lace Topper and Summer Overskirt, ideal for pairing with the label’s sleek slip dresses Silke and Sophie.
Has your heart been stolen? We thought so. Book your appointment now for July before they’re all taken!
The Edwin Oudshoorn collection ranges from £2,000 to £5,000.
