ADVICE: What happens at a Bridal Indulgence appointment
So you’ve booked your appointment to come and see us (or you're thinking about it!). But what happens at your appointment? Let us fill you in.
When you book an appointment at Bridal Indulgence, you will have exclusive use of the boutique. We operate one appointment at a time so that this inimate experience is completely private for you and your guests.
After driving through the beautiful countryside (don’t worry about about all the fields and thinking you must be in the middle of nowhere, you’re in the right place!) you will arrive at Bridal Indulgence where we have a customer car park directly outside for ease. You will be welcomed to the boutique by your stylist.
You will then get settled on our comfy sofa whilst we get to know all about you and your wedding, over drinks of your choice for you and your guests. It’s a great time for us to learn more about the style of wedding dress that you’re looking for. If you’ve browsed our website and there are some particular dresses that you’d like to try, do let us know so we can pull them out for you. But if you have no clue about what you’re looking for, don’t panic, as that’s why we’re here to help you!
Then it’s time for you and your guests to browse through our beautiful collection of dresses and select which you’d like to try on. We usually recommend starting with about 5 or 6 dresses as a starting point and then we can always add to the selection as we go along. Your stylist will help you in and out of the dresses (if you’re comfortable with that) in our spacious changing room. We recommend wearing nude or light coloured underwear to your appointment if possible.
And then the fun really begins as you make your grand entrance out of the fitting room, up on the podium and in front of our mirror to see what you think of each dress choice. We encourage you to walk around the boutique to see how the dress looks and feels as it moves with you. With your appointment being 2 hours long, it allows plenty of time for trying on a good selection of dresses and then retrying your favourites to enable you to find ‘the one’ without feeling rushed. Rest assured that we are not pushy, salesy stylists. We genuinely care about you finding the perfect dress and if you need to go away and have think before making a decision, that’s totally ok.
When you do find your dream dress, we’re so excited for you! Option for pictures with our ‘found the one’ board as you celebrate finding your dream dress with us! We will then be back in touch with you when your dress arrives at the boutique and we will schedule your dress fitting with one of our seamstresses. If you don’t have them yet, we recomemnd you then start thinking about going wedding shoe shopping.
